This challenging major is for students who want a career in the print or Web industry. Journalism students produce a weekly newspaper, The Chase, that serves a readership of over 5,000 people on campus and in the local community. The University yearbook, the Silver Pack, is also a student-produced publication providing a pictorial and written review of the year’s events. HoundBytes is an online publication that includes articles written by students with an interest in the Web as a dynamic medium for news.
