Public Relations

Public relations is the fastest growing profession in communication, and ENMU prepares students to succeed in this competitive industry. Students are exposed to both electronic and print media, founded on a broad liberal arts base. Students have access to numerous resources at ENMU. The Broadcast Center offers hands-on training in radio and television production and student publications provide a variety of print and online experience.

The extended major in public relations requires no minor, and courses include:

In addition, students participate in courses that provide hands-on experience in actual public relations campaigns. Qualified juniors and seniors are also encouraged to complete an internship or professional semester.
