RP = Required pre-requisite course for entrance into ENMU CDIS Graduate Program
R* = One course is required for the B.S. degree in CDIS; Students MAY take both but MUST take one
E = Elective course
E* = Elective, but will count toward completion of the B.S. degree in CDIS

CDIS 433 is not required for ENMU graduate students who are leveling only. CDIS 320 is required for undergraduate degree seeking students only. STAT 213 is a 4 credit course offered through the MATH Department.

Suggested Course of Study

The CDIS Program has multiple options available for matriculation. Many courses have prerequisites so please note those requirements prior to changing this suggested course of study. Students are referred to their catalog of record for General Education and credit hour requirements for the Bachelor's degree.

Students who are seeking the undergraduate degree are strongly encouraged to complete their course of study using the 16 week options listed below. We have found this to be most successful for our students.

Students who are graduate non-degree seeking (leveling) students may complete the CDIS leveling sequence in a single year, but only by attending full-time and by beginning in the summer session (recommended) or the fall session (more difficult but possible). The sequence cannot be completed in a year if the sequence is started in a spring semester.

Some of our students in CDIS choose to attend the university on a part-time basis. Degree seeking individuals interested in this type of matriculation should contact their advisor to determine an individual course of study that best suits their needs. Non-degree seeking graduate students may follow the applicable chart below to exercise this option. the following chart is offered to provide guidance on what courses to take and when they should be taken.

A suggested course of full-time study for leveling students is listed below. Students who wish to complete observations/apprenticeships in the public schools will need to plan to take CDIS 441 in a fall or spring semester rather than the summer.
