Nursing

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is the first professional degree in nursing. Our BSN program is designed with the working registered nurse (RN) in mind. Nurses who graduate from the program are prepared for advanced study or for a professional nursing career.

The BSN program will prepare you to:

  1. Accept personal accountability for ethical and competent nursing practice
  2. Continue your professional and personal development
  3. Base clinical practice on methods of scientific inquiry—including the nursing process—to meet clients' needs for increasingly complex health care in various settings
  4. Apply concepts from nursing theories and research, cultural competencies and the sciences and humanities to assess individual clients' needs for nursing intervention
  5. Collaborate with clients and other health care professionals to plan and deliver health care services
  6. Communicate critical thinking effectively—orally and in writing—about major concepts and processes central to nursing

If you are interested in entering the BSN completion program, please follow the steps in the Admission Checklist.
