With this degree, students can make their favorite crime scene investigation show come to life—almost. While on TV, one person is responsible for running both an investigation and a multitude of tests, real-life forensic scientists specialize.
Eastern is one of only about 20 universities to offer a major in forensic science. The interdisciplinary degree includes 35 hours of core courses and a specialization in anthropology, biology or chemistry. Forensic science majors also learn how to handle evidence properly.
